Dr_KatieG1 19-So now, I set VERY concrete goals. Example: I'm going to write 500 words today. I'm going to edit 4 pages. If I want to do more within reason, that's fine, but once I hit that goal, I can feel accomplished and proud and am free to stop. I also KNOW my limitations.

random_walker When I teach cryptography and information security, I find that students come in with a "folk model" of these topics gleaned from the media. That knowledge isn't just wrong; it's actively unhelpful. A significant fraction of our time is spent unlearning it—with partial success.
