eveningoflight I just made oat milk, and then made oatmeal/banana/peanut butter cookies with the wet oats.

Completely wung it w/r/t to the ingredients so if they come out nice I'll be mildly chuffed.

CharmaineSChua In Mpls, in the face of organized abandonmt from police: community defense units hv bn organized by neighborhood; ppl pooling firefighting resources; going door2door to check in on neighbors. I need you to know that a world without police isn’t just possible. It’s already here.

JamilSmith The entire system of law enforcement needs to be pulled up from its roots and Americans need to move towards a restorative justice model. To those who say the abolition of police is inconceivable, I advise you to read some books about the institutions this country has set aside.

kramski I see a lot of people talking about privilege again & that is great. But there is one aspect I feel is very important that tends to get left out in favor of more passive framings:

Privilege is a weapon. In encounters with people who do not have yours, you always show up armed.

kramski Privilege means:
1. You, personally, have power over the person who doesn't have it. Whether you wield it or not.
2. You, personally, are always potentially dangerous to the other person, because they never know if you might choose to wield it, if they somehow piss you off
