In other cases, probably English, makes it easier to quote or get references.

ajiswriting I think a lot abt the discourse of “nonblack people shouldn’t overuse & capitalize on AAVE + black aesthetics” & many people think it’s a reach but like...facts? it’s not fair that Black people are regarded as uneducated for these things while everyone else is regarded as trendy.
ajiswriting not to sit on a high horse or anything but this is why i generally have a hard time with tiktok because I’m just not really... prepared for the overusage and over presentation of black aesthetics, vernacular, & imagery by white suburban teenagers as a way of joking.
