-start with 10 hours
-subtract time for lunch
-subtract time scheduled for meetings
-subtract 1 hour for unscheduled meetings
-subtract 1 hour for email
-assess what tasks I can do in the remaining time
-cut those tasks by half
-celebrate victory!
