@EnglishGibson Only there are no corresponding examples for men, because their generic masculines could be read as non-generic.

@EnglishGibson I don't think there's anything in particular about these examples that makes it "not worth bothering" to use feminine forms. It's just that some women don't consider generic masculine forms problematic, or even if they do, sometimes they use them anyway - just like men!
